1990's corte woven on a foot loom.  This is all one Mayan woman's skirt.  Because it is joined on each end, she will get inside it and wrap it several times, tuck in her huipil, and belt it.  Very intiricate weave with bands of jaspe running throughout the cloth.  Because this is a newer piece, the colors are very vibrant and very soft cotton.
